Malacañang is not behind the full-page advertisements in national newspapers clamoring for a second term for President Benigno Aquino III and trumpeting the fiscal and economic reforms the administration has instituted since taking over the helm of government in 2010, as well as his fight against corruption as the main points why he should be re-elelected come 2016.
